We have thought long and hard about a fitting name for our new home. And we call it… Villa Alcyone!

Why? Well, there are three reasons why… Firstly, Alcyone is one of the most spectacular dive sites around Cocos Island, where you see hundreds of hammerhead sharks, rays and other large fish. Whenever we dove there, we always felt like “we do not want to leave this beautiful and special place!” And that’s how we want our guests to feel while staying with us.

The dive site Alcyone owes its name to the great diving pioneer Jacques Cousteau, who first went diving there with his boat called ‘Alcyone’.

And Alcyone is also the brightest star in Jack’s constellation Taurus!

All in all, a name that suits us well.
